Synopsis
Kooky but cool 17 years old Candice meets the guy she has been dreaming of. He is sexy, mysterious, dangerous – and mixed with the wrong crowd. In a neighbourhood increasingly intimidated by volatile, unpredictable youths, can he help her escape? Or lead her into far greater peril?
Director
Aoife McArdle grew up in Omagh, Northern Ireland. She studied English Literature and Film at Trinity College, Dublin before going on to complete a Masters in Film & TV production at Bournemouth University. There she specialised in script-writing, directing, cinematography and lighting. Before her first feature-length film, Kissing Candice, she directed music videos for Bryan Ferry, Jon Hopkins, Simian Mobile Disco, James Vincent McMorrow, U2 and television commercials for Honda, Samsung and Under Armour.
