SYNOPSIS
Concerned for the welfare of her irascible father, a retired sea captain, harried nurse Grace hires local widow Annie as his housekeeper. When the pair embark on an unexpected romance, Grace is forced to face the feelings of resentment and hostility she’s harbored since childhood. As old wounds and closely guarded secrets come to light, the future of Howard and Annie’s budding relationship is threatened.

Klaus Härö is one of the most successful Finnish filmmakers. One of his latest films The Fencer (2015) was nominated for the Golden Globes and shortlisted for Oscars. His first feature film Elina won the Crystal Bear in Berlin 2003 and Ingmar Bergman prize in Sweden 2004. His other films include Mother of Mine (2005) and Letters to Father Jacob (2009).
